Oct. 11, 2016
Frank Rinderknecht started in the automotive business back in 1977 importing sunroofs into Switzerland and converting cars to handicapped-accessible vehicles for drivers with disabilities.

Switzerland might be best known for timepieces and chocolates, but you could add cutting-edge concept cars to that list if Frank Rinderknecht has anything to say about it. He started in the automotive business back in 1977 importing sunroofs into Switzerland and converting cars to handicapped-accessible vehicles for drivers with disabilities. By 1979, he had opened Rinspeed Inc., a company that worked with leading automotive suppliers and built cutting-edge concept vehicles. His vehicles always create a buzz at the annual Geneva International Motor Show.
