Then There Were Two: Vote for Your Favorite STEM Starter!

June 23, 2015

After three weeks of intense voting, we’re down to the Championship Round in our STEM Starter competition. It will pit Heathkit/Crystal Radio against Legos/Mindstorm. Heathkit/Crystal Radio got to this round by edging out Balsa Wood rubber band planes/kits, while Legos had to overcome a strong finish by Microscope/Telescope.

It’s gratifying that the voters have chosen two STEM Starters that really bring out the engineer in kids of all ages while still providing some hands-on education in how the world works.
