New Product: General-purpose ac motor line

Nov. 8, 2007
The IronHorse line of generalpurpose ac motors includes rolled-steel and cast-iron styles in single and threephase models from 0.33 to 300 hp.

All motors in the line have a base speed of 1,800 rpm and are electrically reversible. The MTR Series 56C frame motors come in 0.33 to 2-hp sizes and are housed in a rolled-steel, fan-cooled enclosure equipped with removable bases. The single-phase 115/208-230 V motors have large allmetal capacitor covers with rubber gaskets and oversized capacitors while the three-phase, 208-230/460 V models are inverter capable.

The three-phase MTC Series comes in 1-to-300-hp sizes and features ribbed cast-iron frames for cooling. Motors up to 10 hp use maintenance-free bearings. Motors over 10 hp feature NSK/SKF ball or roller bearings. The high-efficiency motors are CSA, CE, ISO 9001, and Epact certified.
