The Gantry controller operates two servodrives as one unit. Using superfast MIMO communications, one Gold-line servodrive is configured as the master (X1) with a second drive (slave, X2) following its lead and sending feedback data.

The Gantry controller operates two servodrives as one unit. Using superfast MIMO communications, one Gold-line servodrive is configured as the master (X1) with a second drive (slave, X2) following its lead and sending feedback data. Software guides the user through the implementation process, providing drive configuration, safety and protections, system identification and controller design in a GUI format.

The system is suitable for dual-axis gantries, as well as full four-axis planar control and other complex applications. Adding the company’s Gold Maestro motion controller allows control of up to 100 axes via EtherCAT or CANopen.
