To save weight and space, gearboxes mount directly on the motor. The center gear rests directly on the motor shaft and replaces the input shaft on the gearbox, eliminating the need for an adapter flange, clamp system, and gearbox input bearing.

There are three models: the 8GM30 economy series, the 8GM40 standard gearbox, and the 8GM50 reinforced gearbox. Gearboxes in the standard series are available as single and two-stage units with a backlash <8 to <15 arc-min. The 8GM50 Series uses bearings optimized for radial and axial forces.
