Touchless angle sensor

Wear-free RFA4000 angle sensor measures angles by detecting the orientation of a magnetic field using a magnet, which is easily attached to a rotating shaft.

Features & benefits

  • Magnetic field orientation converted by an embedded IC into angle — 0° to 360°

  • Processor converts angle to 0.25 to 4.75-V or 0.5 to 4.5-V radiometric output

  • 12-bit resolution, 30×30×7mm3 and ±0.5% independent linearity; 14-bit SPI output available

  • 0.1° repeatability; temperature-resistant plastic housing sealed to IP67; nominal shaft offsets accommodated

  • Measurements through nonmagnetic materials; leadwire and pc-board connections available; customization offered
