Soft roller system

Oct. 25, 2007
The Super Drive feed-roller system puts replaceable throwaway tires on hubs fabricated using CNC technology.

The hubs are permanent and the tires are replaced as needed. The system targets applications that need a nonmarking, high-traction, soft-feed roller. The standard hubs are flush sided for stacking and are bored and keyed to customer specifications. Setscrews and special mounts are available, as well as bearings and bushings. Tires are precision molded from high-performance polyurethane. The materials have been specially formulated for toughness, traction, abrasion, and heat resistance. Tires come in over 60 sizes and five standard hardnesses that range from 50 to 95 duro A scale. Diameters range from 3.25 in. (83 mm) to 16 in. (406 mm) and widths range from 0.75 in. (19 mm) to 5.75 in. (146 mm).
