New pump-mounted electronic-displacement controls for Series 2 heavy-duty pumps offer an SAE J1939-compatible CAN interface.

New pump-mounted electronic-displacement controls for Series 2 heavy-duty pumps offer an SAE J1939-compatible CAN interface. Design features include electroproportional-pump-displacement control with a swash-position sensor; <1% hysteresis; a fully encapsulated digital control module with EMC certification; and setup, monitoring, and diagnostics through a PC-based GUI. The unit permits independent pump control via a centralized control system or PLC, or a direct operator interface through CAN-enabled joysticks.
