Compute Resources As Needed

Feb. 23, 2006
The HP Flexible Computing Services let companies acquire additional compute resources as needed.

To help get started in a low-cost way, HP has an industry-first membership approach with its HP Flexible Computing Club. Members receive guidance and a "try-before-youbuy" experience to determine how utility computing can fit their business needs. The services are aimed at industries such as oil and gas and health sciences that need to test software on large-scale infrastructures prior to release. The service provides compute power based on technology platforms from 32 and 64-bit systems, including Intel Xeon and AMD Opteron HP ProLiant systems and Intel Itanium HP Integrity servers.
