The KIO Series keyboards feature OrbitalMouse, a button-style pointing device offering users 360° freedom of movement by simply pressing on the button and moving in the desired direction on the display screen. Designed for industrial and medical applications, the new keyboard/pointer models come in OEM, desktop, and rack-mount versions. The keyboards feature 90 fullsize keys, 101/104-key functionality, including 12 function keys and a separate numeric keypad. The KIO7800 Series is a ready-to-integrate model for OEMs that features a 0.2-in. profile and an 11.625 4.856-in. footprint. For end-user applications, the KIO7000 and KIO8000 desktop and the KIO3700 rack-mount versions offer an easy plugand-play solution. All three are available in aluminum and stainless-steel enclosures. Interfaces include PS/2 and USB, compatible with standard hardware and operating systems. The OrbitalMouse guarantees no drift, the ability to customize pointer speed, and needs no special drivers or calibration. The keyboards can be used in harsh environments and when gloves are worn.
