Machinable jaws

Aug. 22, 2001
The CarvLock vise lets users machine part profiles on all four sides of the movable jaws.

The CarvLock vise lets users machine part profiles on all four sides of the movable jaws. It permits multiple-part workholding for better spindle use, reduced tool-changing time, and less machine travel from part to part. Jaws come in three different heights and aluminum or ductile iron. To prevent parts from lifting up under heavy clamping loads, a ductile iron body and steel components provide strength and rigidity. The vise is available in double-station and eight-station tower models with 101.6 or 152.4-mm jaw widths.
