Position Sensors

Aug. 24, 2006
The TEX Series of position sensors combine compact housing size of 18-mm diameter with pressure equalization.

Rated to protection class IP66, these sensors contain patented differential pressure compensation technology. This equalizes pressure resulting from rod movement on linear sensors, without allowing contaminants. The Series has linearity of ±0.05% with resolution better than 0.01 mm. Pivot heads provide a large angle of free movement to eliminate side-load errors. The Series features stroke lengths and electrical range up to 300 mm, plus an operating life of up to 20 million movements. These sensors withstand adverse conditions such as humidity, oil, and dust. Mounting options include fixing clamps for center bushing or bolt-through flange plates.
