Ruggedized connectors

Sept. 16, 2004
Designed for use in military, aerospace, and telecommunications critical applications, the VME64x's optimized contact lead traces provide superior performance in high-speed signal applications.

The connectors feature Hypertac contact technology, which offers an improved interface for shock and vibration immunityand low mating forces. VME64x is mechanically compliant with IEEE-1101.2-1992 ruggedization level 5, supporting the embedded bus architecture. Keying ensures proper mating, and aluminum frames provide ruggedness and conduction.
