The new comprehensive range of sealing boots from APEM Components, Inc. come in a variety of colors to prevent the entry of dust, sand, water and other contaminants. These sealing boots are ideal for switch protection in a variety of industries, including public works vehicles, medical equipment, farm equipment, machine tools, food and chemical processing equipment.

APEM's sealing boots can be either screwed onto the switch bushing or snapped over the switch actuator, depending on the switch type and the panel mounting mode. In order to provide maximum protection, each boot is supplied with a sealing ring or washer and allows for full immersion under 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without water ingress (protection to IP67).

Available in both black neoprene and silicone materials, the boots come in a range of colors including white, green, red, and transparent silicone. Each of these colors serves a different function: red signals danger, green can indicate priority or absence of danger, white offers better visibility in semi-darkness, and transparent boots allow visual access to the marking, color or position of the actuator on which they are mounted. Additional options include nickel-plated or matte black finished brass.

For more information about APEM's sealing boots or its broad line of products, contact APEM Components, Inc., 63 Neck Road, P.O. Box 8288, Haverhill, MA 01835 at 978-372-1602 or visit the company's website at www.apem.com.
