Software Converts Files To DWF

Jan. 12, 2006
The free, downloadable Autodesk DWF Writer lets users convert files from applications such as SolidWorks and Pro/E into DWF format.

Engineers can thereby provide accurate, data-rich digital designs to nontechnical team members at any point in a manufacturing process. Team members can view and understand designs using the Autodesk DWF Viewer (also free). The writer is available from autodesk.com/dwfwriter
