    GE’s Industrial Internet Control System (IICS) allows for edge computing to help direct and enhance performance. For example, for a windmill turbine, when wind changes direction, edge software prompts the field of the turbine to adjust its pitch based on the data collected and analyzed. This helps the turbine capture more kinetic energy.
