Configurable Component Tech Seminar to be held during South Pack show

Feb. 7, 2008
Misumi USA, Inc. will display its newest products for factory automation at the upcoming South Pack show in Charlotte, NC on March 19-20.

Highlighted at this year's South Pack show will be the company's new single-axis actuators, linear guides, miniature slides, locating pins, linear shafts, rollers and more. Most components are configurable, with downloadable CAD files and full specs available at the company's website.

During the show, Misumi will conduct its Configurable Component Technical Seminar on site to demonstrate the advantages of configurable components to machine, equipment and assembly system engineers attending the show. Designers can go to the Misumi website, use the CAD Configurator to select their part specifications, download the native CAD file in dozens of available formats, import the component into their assembly, verify the part, then order it through the Misumi Web Ordering System, all in just minutes.

Engineers can register for the seminar online or at the show. The seminars will be held in the Hospitality Suite located at the Westin Charlotte just adjacent to the convention center during the show. In addition, the company will register attendees to receive the company’s newest catalogs, containing over 500,000 products for the machinery and equipment designer.
