The 2012 catalog of low-voltage brushless-dc and intelligent servomotors includes detailed specifications on custom configurable BLDC motors, controls, gearheads, brakes, encoders, and accessories.

Based on five frame sizes of highpower density and low voltage, the motors range from 32 to 75 mm (1.26 to 2.95in.) with continuous output power ratings to 530 W (0.7 hp). The motors can be configured with separate or integral controls, incremental or absolute encoders, and matched parallel-shaft and rightangle gearing, as well as power-off or power-on brakes.

The 114-page catalog includes the addition of a commutation electronics option to 32 and 42-mm BLDC motors to permit simple two-wire operation; Profibus and EtherCAT interface options added to control 45, 65, and 75-mm motors to allow slave operation in motion-control networks; 20 pages of information and specifications on five sizes of planetary gearheads, including special lownoise versions, with continuous torque ratings to 160Nm (1,416lb-in.), as well as four sizes of right-angle worm-gear reducers; new BGE 30100 stand-alone control for use with battery-powered brushless motors up to 500 W; and a new CANopen-Profibus gateway to allow CANopen motors slave operation in a Profibus network.
