Model 1100 in-line flow sensors are for monitoring insufficient or excessive liquid flow rates. A magnet-equipped shuttle is displaced at calibrated flow to actuate a hermetically sealed reed switch. Units are available with factory-installed flow settings of 0.4 to 100 gpm in water or custom flow settings for oil. Field-adjustable units are also available. Standard connections range from 0.75 to 3-in. NPT along with optional silver braze or socket weld ports. Standard materials are brass, bronze, 316 stainless steel, and Monel. Model 1100 sensors have passed tests for accelerated life, salt spray, shock, and vibration. Maximum pressure rating is 1,200 psi at 100°F.
