Summary
Electroacoustic transducers like speakers and microphones are multiphysics in nature, with electromagnetics, mechanical vibrations, and acoustics as the main phenomena that describe the underlying physics. In COMSOL Multiphysics® it is easy to either set up a full vibroelectroacoustic model using the built-in multiphysics couplings or connect a lumped circuit representation to a finite element model for system analysis using the lumped electroacoustics couplings.
The software can be used to model all aspects of a speaker or microphone, and includes several methods and modeling techniques that can be used at different stages of the design process. In this webinar, we will present why and how to use the available methods, as well as how to combine them to get the most efficient model setup. We will also showcase the latest features that further enhance the electroacoustics modeling experience in COMSOL Multiphysics®.
