Summary

Requirements on quality, time-to-market, and increasing costs to set up production motivates companies to examine what makes the most business sense: produce themselves for or work with a contract manufacturer. That decision will impact you and your partners in various ways.

It is not sufficient to be a component supplier, and additional supporting services are necessary. We will use real examples and lessons learned on the different topics of contract manufacturing while examining the issue from the viewpoint of the customer and the contract service provider.

In this webinar, we will focus on the engineering’s point of view, discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using a contract manufacturer and the factors and requirements that will drive a successful outcome.
