Summary

As the importance of IT infrastructure in manufacturing processes continues to increase, solutions are needed that simplify processes and enhance collaboration. Operational teams are still stuck using error-prone, manual processes for developing and managing PLCs and control devices, which reduces quality, efficiency, and operating uptime. This can create security issues, lengthen recovery times, and create expensive complexities in maintaining two separate technology stacks for IT and OT teams.

Learn how modern DevOps processes standard to IT teams can now be applied to industrial automation projects, providing unprecedented visibility into PLC and control device projects, enhancing communication and collaboration and leading to reduced errors and increased productivity. We will discuss how you can align IT and OT as it relates to your PLC and control device projects, for both source control as well as automatic backup of running devices. You will learn how adopting Industrial DevOps empowers you to:

  • utilize your teams' expertise to drive operational efficiency.
  • reduce the need for separate, expensive, complex IT and OT stacks.
  • simplify the OT toolchain to a single manageable system.
  • implement coherent Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that align with software development practices.
  • improve security by aligning OT storage solutions with IT best practices.

Join us to discover the solutions you can implement today that can help align your teams and maximize operational efficiency.
