AutomationDirect Offers Elesa Position Indicators for Shaft Position Measurement

Sept. 21, 2023
The electronic Elesa position indicators enable precise monitoring and easy-to-read display of rotating shaft positions.

Elesa position indicators have a robust polyamide housing designed to withstand regular washing for applications that require frequent cleaning. The readable display mounted on the housing provides precision position values in an intuitive manner. The indicators are directly attached to the rotating shafts, capturing and converting the rotational movement into readable position values.

Key features of the position indicators include:

  • Measurement values that can be displayed in millimeters, inches or degrees
  • Absolute or incremental display modes for flexibility
  • Clockwise or counterclockwise reading orientation to accommodate different rotational directions.
  • LCD options with 8 or 12 mm height and five- or six-digit options for customization
  • User-replaceable lithium battery with a lifespan up to five years, depending on model
  • IP65 or IP67 protection rating, providing resistance against dust and water ingress, for durability in challenging environments.

The indicators are CE marked and RoHS compliant, which ensures their adherence to industry standards. They are designed to ensure the precise control and alignment of industrial equipment or machinery.
