Miniature Futek Load cell measures loads from 10 grams to 5 pounds

The LPM 200 panel-mount load cell from Futek Advanced Sensor Technology Inc., Irvine, Calif. (www.futek.com), can measure from 0.02 to 5 lb and has overload protection of 1,000% of rated output. A threaded flexure makes installation simple. The sensor connects via a #28-awg four-conductor clear-PVC cable, and a USB output is available as an option. The 1.5-oz device measures just 2.09-in. long and 0.75 in. in diameter. It operates in temperatures from –60 to 200°F and is accurate to 300 ppm.
