Harting’s Han-Yellock Industrial Electrical Connector Features Latched Locking Mechanism

Harting’s Han-Yellock industrial electrical connector features latched locking mechanism

Engineers at Harting Technology Group, a German company with U. S. headquarters in Elgin Ill. (www.harting.com), have developed a line of Han-Yellock electrical connectors. The connector consists of a panel-mounted housing and a carrier hood with a cover on the cable side. It can be used with a variety of insulators and fingerproof contact inserts, all of which snap into place. Various insulators can be inserted from the mating or termination side and can also be used for contact bridging. The connectors require only male crimps, and no special tools are needed. When the connector locks, it resists vibration, shock, and accidental opening.
