Conveyors often get placed in tight locations to save space and meet production demands. But then technicians often have difficulty changing belts or performing regular maintenance. To simplify their jobs, engineers at Dorner Manufacturing, Hartland, Wis.,have designed a conveyor that is supported on one side with standard T-slot fastening methods. But the belt is supported in the middle by a rotating bracket support that can be quickly swung out of the way. With the rotating bracket middle support out of the way and the conveyor supported only on one end, technicians can get to the belt to replace or clean it.
