With the need for higher data-rate capacity in the aerospace market, new lightweight, flexible, and routable Ethernet cables are bundled in a unique jacket material that provides the high speed and light weight necessary.
With the need for higher data-rate capacity in the aerospace market, new lightweight, flexible, and routable Ethernet cables are bundled in a unique jacket material that provides the high speed and light weight necessary.

Designed for modern airborne digital networks, the CAT-6A cable supports TIA-568 applications up to 10 gigabits while increasing signal density with reduced cable diameter. Two standard sizes are available — 24 and 26 AWG. These higher data-rate systems require greater attention to electrical parameters, such as impedance control, attenuation, crosstalk, and EMI.
