    Mounting kits for Series JC1STP teachable two-position switches are now available as accessories for Series 8400 and 109/191 grippers. The kits include a switch plate that contains slots, allowing one or two switches to mount to the bottom of the grippers. Mounting two switches allows for sensing of four jaw positions throughout jaw travel. According to developer Phd, the kits lower cost for jaw-position sensing by up to 50%. They can be retrofitted and are easy to install and set up. Switches and mounting plates are ordered separately.
