The key findings of the survey include the percentage of manufacturers using robots; employer and worker perception of robots; AGV usage; who companies rely on for robot integration and risk assessments; what safety measures are implemented around robots; and the future robotic investment outlook.

Robotic Welding and Operational Efficiencies
Another area where robotics has proven valuable is welding, both for its efficiency and because of the chronic shortage of welders. On the first point, a new white paper from Balluff looks at how a poor selection of automation components costs welders in every industry increased downtime, unnecessary maintenance, delayed deliveries and lost profits. The white paper looks at best practices that can improve uptime and eliminate nuisance stops due to failed components.
