PTFE cam-lock, quick-connect coupling

Oct. 25, 2007
A new cam-lock, quick-connect coupling made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) joins a line of Fluor-O-Flo PTFE threaded pipe components.

The coupling is for corrosive liquids both as a stand-alone product or a PTFE threaded piping system. The coupling provides an easy attachment point for components, such as tanks, that must be periodically removed or replaced. An internal FEP-encapsulated silicone O-ring ensures that all wetted parts are fluoropolymeric. Couplings are available in Schedule 80 pipe sizes from 0.5 to 4 in. with male and female NPT thread options. Cam locking levers are stainless steel and can be replaced.
