Bosch Rexroth Showcases Automation, Assembly Advances

Feb. 8, 2016
Bosch Rexroth will present its latest technology for automation and assembly at the 2016 Automation Technology Expo West.

Bosch Rexroth will present its latest technology for automation and assembly at the 2016 Automation Technology Expo West (booth No. 4400), to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, February 9 to 11.

The booth will showcase a range of offerings, including manual production systems, fastening tools, highly flexible conveyor and Cartesian motion transport systems, and new machine programming functionality. A key area of focus will be the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions.

The workpiece pallet-based, non-synchronous TSplus assembly conveyor offers maximum assembly flexibility with modular and pre-engineered components. Users can choose from numerous conveying media and pallet sizes, along with an extensive range of positioning and transfer modules. Rexroth’s booth will include a live TSplus conveyor demonstration shown as a complete assembly line solution.

The VarioFlow plus chain conveyor system is a versatile, standardized system intended to achieve a rapid time-to-market. It features fast and smooth assembly, economical hardware, compact drives, minimized noise and wear, and efficient Rexroth MTpro planning software with Layout Designer.

The ActiveMover linear motor pallet-transfer system delivers highly precise transfers in short production cycles. Exact positioning of workpiece pallets is achieved using Rexroth’s integrated measuring system (IMS). This pre-engineered, modular system features a drive with up to 160 N per pallet, plus rugged design and connects to any control system.

The Open Mechatronics demo utilizes Rexroth’s Open Core Engineering solution on an L25 Controller, illustrating how complex motion can be programmed using an Excel spreadsheet.

Finally, Rexroth Tightening Systems are designed to withstand a million maintenance-free tightening cycles under full load for high-volume, high-quality operations and minimal downtime. Live demonstrations will include real-time tightening sequences with results shown on a mobile tablet.
