The Navicross stems from a modified Lincoln LS platform and features all-wheel drive with adaptive-traction control. Suicide doors open to a luxurious interior that includes leather seating; LED screens containing vehicle information such as a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, a passenger-side screen providing navigation, telematics, and Internet access, and a third screen governing a THX-certified audio system and climate controls; and a trunk draped in leather and hardwood with flexible cargo tiedowns.
The Navicross is powered by a 4.2-liter aluminum V8 mated to a five-speed automatic with manual controls so that drivers can shift without clutching by tapping the gearshift up or down. The concept rides on 20-in. tires. Stopping power comes from high-performance Brembo brakes with 355-mm vented discs and four-piston calipers front and rear.
