The Gloucester County Board of Freeholders honored Omega Engineering for its contribution to the economic development of the tri-county region of Southern New Jersey.

The Gloucester County Board of Freeholders honored Omega Engineering for its contribution to the economic development of the tri-county region of Southern New Jersey. The first award was for Omega's Class 10 Clean Room facility in Bridgeport, NJ. With nearly 300 employees, it manufactures thin-film technology used to make temperature, pressure, and process control devices. Having a class 10 clean Room means having fewer particles in the air per cubic foot. The award recognized the company's creation of over 100,000 different products and ownership of 100 patents.
