Digital injection-cylinder control

June 5, 2003
The DPQ digital controller for hydraulic injection cylinders with analog feedback is said to provide fast, accurate system response.

Features include user-selectable internal or external (analog voltage) injection-profile control, easy setup, and flexibility for use with most injection-molding machines. Closed-loop injection velocity and pressure profiles have completely bumpless transitions. Hydraulic shock is eliminated in all operating conditions. Injection-cylinder position or mold-cavity pressure triggers transfer from velocity to pressure control.
