Solar car fuses

The University of Missouri-Rolla Solar Car Team won the 2003 American Solar Challenge Race thanks in part to 80-A solid-state fuses from Cooper Bussmann, Ellisville, Mo.
(www.bussmann.com). The FWX Series fuses provide circuit protection for the vehicle.
The Solar Miner IV racer completed the 2,300-mile race from Chicago to Claremont, Calif., in just over 51 hr.
