Terostat 3631 FR is a flame-retardant butyl sealant for protecting cable bundles against high temperatures

Terostat 3631 FR is a flame-retardant butyl sealant for protecting cable bundles against high temperatures. The sealant withstands continuous exposure to temperatures up to 105°C. It also has self-extinguishing properties in the event of a fire, making it suitable for use as a longitudinal waterrepellent sealant for cable bundles in electric ovens, microwaves, heating systems, or tumble dryers. The easy-to-handle sealant also resists water and moisture. As a soft-moldable compound, Terostat is applied manually to seal off the cable bundle, eliminating the need to thread cables through grommets.
