In booth W-2528 at IMTS 2016, â€‹Röhm Products of America showcases its DURO-TA XT key-bar chuck for its milling and turning machines, along with its Power-Grip clamping system for palletization.

The DURO-TA XT is up to 75% lighter than competitive designs, and features detachable extended guideways that enable quick conversion between small and large workpieces. In addition, the direct mount on the base body provides high rigidity, stability, and protection against dirt and dust.

Röhm also introduces its Power-Grip clamping system, which reduces the number of set-ups per part in palletization systems. Power-Grip also lets set-up take place outside of the machine, eliminating downtime due to workpiece clamping.  In addition, Power-Grip can be seamlessly incorporated with a multitude of Röhm standard clamping devices for flexible integration.

Röhm encourages booth visitors to come prepared to discuss their specific workholding challenges with its application specialists. Specialists will also be available to show how Röhm’s workholding and automation technology work.
