New Products: Mold and Mask Tape

Scapa 815 is a flash-breaker tape designed to mask and hold tools, forms, and parts for metal or composite bonding.

The tape has a 2-mil-thick nylon backing and 1.2 mil of white and yellow adhesive. It is silicone-free and protects bonding surfaces from silicone contamination.

It is formulated to withstand autoclave cycles and continuous temperatures up to 265°F with intermittent exposures to 350°F. The product’s peel strength is 40 oz/in., and it resists tensile stress up to 25 lb/in., elongating over 500% before break.
