During this time of challenge for our nation and our manufacturing sector, the business of developing new production systems continues. To help that process move forward, Machine Design will feature three new products each day to keep innovation at the top of mind for our end-users, our OEMs and integrators, and our supply community.

Linear Actuator
Designed to replace traditional pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, P.ACT is an electromechanical linear actuator that incorporates Schaeffler’s innovative PWG differential roller screw. P.ACT combines extremely high-power density with a smaller footprint than conventional linear actuators into a plug-and-play design that enables fast setup and operation.
Atomizing Spray Nozzle
EXAIR’s 1/8 NPT No Drip Internal Mix Air Atomizing Spray Nozzles mix liquid and air inside the nozzle and produce the finest atomization of liquids. The patented No Drip Internal Mix Atomizing Spray Nozzles work in the same way as standard atomizing nozzles, but have the added benefit of positively stopping liquid flow when compressed air is shut off. They are available in three different liquid patterns: narrow angle round, wide angle round and flat fan patterns. No Drip Internal Mix atomizing nozzles are available with 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 NPT inlets with a variety of liquid flow values to suit a variety of application.
Motor Control Relays
ProSense motor control relays from AutomationDirect perform specific protective functions for motors or motor components to ensure proper and more efficient operation. Intrinsically safe relays provide safe and reliable control of loads within hazardous locations. Phase monitor relays provide protection against premature equipment failure caused by faults on 3-phase systems. Phase monitor relays provide protection against phase loss, phase reversal, phase unbalance, undervoltage and overvoltage. These 10 A-rated relays, with LED indicator(s), are compatible with Wye or Delta systems and are available in a range of voltage inputs. They are available in SPDT or DPDT configurations; an onboard switch selects alternating or single-load operation.
