Vision Sensor

The new 3DV/1600 vision sensor is lightweight and works as a fixed or robot-mounted 3D vision camera. The new sensor can quickly snap 3D images over a Z range of two meters, with a maximum field of view of 2700mm square, which is ideal for bin picking or line tracking large parts. The 3DV/1600 is part of FANUC’s iRVision suite of integrated machine vision products for robot guidance and inspection. FANUC designs all of its vision hardware and software specifically for FANUC robots, providing customers with solutions that meet their production needs, and saves them the time and expense required by third-party vision suppliers.

Expansion Modules

New expansion I/O modules from AutomationDirect for the BRX stackable micro brick PLC include communications modules, universal analog I/O modules and universal temperature combination I/O modules. Expansion modules snap onto the side of any BRX Micro PLC Unit (MPU) or BRX Remote I/O controller, creating a sturdy and rugged PLC platform. Added BRX serial communications modules provide four isolated RS-232 ports that support communications flow control or RS-422 serial ports. Also available are BRX single-channel RS-232 (with flow control) and RS-422 Pluggable Option Modules. Supported protocols include Do-more! Protocol, Modbus RTU (Master/Slave), K-Sequence and ASCII (In/Out). Data rates are 1,200 to 115,200 bps.

GO Switch

TopWorx GO Switches are a long-lasting, ultra-dependable alternative to mechanical limit switches and inductive proximity sensors for machine safety monitoring. Featuring a hybrid design which brings together the best features of a proximity sensor and limit switch, GO Switches provide reliable, maintenance-free monitoring for critical applications. Whether monitoring panel enclosures, conveyors, lubricating valves, hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders or countless other applications, GO Switch helps ensure maximum uptime and provides feedback without consuming power or requiring adjustments.
