Angle Sensors Operate in Harsh Environments

Novotechnik sensors have a range of temperatures and tolerances.

The RFE 3200 Series of resilient angle sensors are designed to operate in demanding environments such as off-highway equipment. The RFE Series measures from 0 up to 360 deg. and can be ordered with one partially redundant or two fully redundant channels. Shock and vibration tolerances are 50 g and 20 g, respectively. Temperature range is between −40°C and +125°C. These sensors are suitable for safety-related applications according to ISO 13849 upon customer validation.

The RFE 3200 Series meets or exceeds 10 EMC standards. Outputs options are 4 to 20 mA, 0.25 to 4.75 V, 0.5 to 4.5 V, CANopen and CAN SAE J1939.
