EP21AR two-component epoxy, suitable for coating, lining, bonding, and sealing, reportedly resists chemicals, fuels, and oils — including prolonged immersion in concentrated sulfuric or hydrochloric acid. Dielectric strength is 400 V/mil, making it a good electrical insulator. Coefficient of thermal expansion is 45 to 55 ppm/°C and temperature range is –60 to 275°F. It forms abrasion-resistant bonds with a tensile strength >10,000 psi, shear strength >2,700 psi, and compressive strength >14,000 psi at 75°F.
