    The new SM23165MT-IP SmartMotor, designed for use in harsh environments, combines the capabilities of the SmartMotor integrated servo with an IP65 rating. A thicker motor casing provides protection and durability, and it resists cable stresses for longer motor life and less downtime.

    Features include a Combitronic communication protocol, stand-alone linear interpolation, completely dusttight and protected from ingress of liquid that may occur from any angle.

    The motor can be upgraded to an IP67 rating for applications requiring complete servomotor submersion up to 1 m deep in water or other nonhazardous liquids for up to 30 min.
