The Geon HC rigid and flexible vinyl products include nonphthalate formulations, including hemocompatible, nonphthalate materials for critical health-care applications that contact blood. The company’s line of certified USP Class VI products have been expanded to include materials that have passed the ISO 10993-5 standard for in vitro cytotoxicity for medical devices.
The new Geon vinyl products for medical-device housings and enclosures meet requirements for flame and chemical resistance to hospital cleaners and disinfectants.
