A new version of the company’s 36-mm G4 linear actuator includes a special Size 14 adapter plate that allows the smaller 36-mm OD unit to replace existing Size 14 hybrid stepper-motor linear actuators.

The new unit lets users replace existing hybrid units easily by using the same bolt pattern and pilot surface. Force output range is 70 to 260 N (16 to 58 lb).

The unit’s optimized teeth geometry along with high-energy neodymium magnets results in a higher continuous force output. With a 20% higher output force, the G4 contains the latest custom-engineered plastics and larger bearings for greater rotor support and higher axial load capability.
