A microprocessor-controlled gearmotor draws minimal power and has a mechanical override for use during power failures. An optional microswitch provides feedback on latch status and allows for remote monitoring. The latch works with a host of electronic-access components including keypads, key fobs, proximity cards, and biometric devices. The R4-EM is also available in auto relock and delayed relock versions.
