The Tadiran Rapid Response (TRR) Series of lithium-thionylchloride (LiSOCl 2) batteries delivers high capacity and high energy density without voltage or power delay

The Tadiran Rapid Response (TRR) Series of lithium-thionylchloride (LiSOCl 2) batteries delivers high capacity and high energy density without voltage or power delay, delivering up to 15% longer operating life in certain applications. The Series is the first LiSOCl 2 battery capable of eliminating passivation effects that hinders battery performance.

The batteries eliminate the voltage drop that occurs when standard LiSOCl2 batteries are first subjected to load, as well as voltage drop under pulse (or transient minimum voltage level). The final result is zero delay during the voltage response. These attributes allow TRR batteries to use available capacity more efficiently, especially in extremely hot or cold temperatures, thus extending battery life by up to 15%.
