High-Speed Proportional Valves

July 20, 2012
The LS Series of high-speed proportional valves are designed for higher operating pressures than the standard line and continuous use at high actuation frequencies, such as those for precision pressure control.

The LS Series of high-speed proportional valves are designed for higher operating pressures than the standard line and continuous use at high actuation frequencies, such as those for precision pressure control. The valves are suitable for applications such as case packing, edge guides, fatigue testing to guidance systems, vibration isolation and advanced-energy projects.

Features of the valves include 5/3 bidirectional, proportional flow control, linear force motor, infinitely variable-valve positioning (three extreme positions), fast shifting time of 2.5msec, 100-MHz bandwidth, hysteresis less than 5% of full scale, and low leakage.
