The 8-mm-wide DGSC pneumatic microslide is suited for installation in small spaces such as in the production of electronics and small parts assembly. The design features a preloaded ball-bearing cage guide which gives the unit a positioning accuracy of 0.01 mm.

Uses for the microslide include handling operations in automatic test-equipment systems, simultaneous loading/ unloading of multiple chips or ICs in and out of the test process, attaching small screws, and marking printed-circuit boards with data-matrix code.

The pneumatic slide has low breakaway torque and travels jerkfree starting at 15-psi pressure. Mechanical interfaces simplify its integration into machines. Various mounting and air-connection options are available.
