The TNC 640 control lets turning operations be done on a milling machine so operators can transition from milling to turning cycles in the same program. Turning operations can be programmed in plain text, just like milling operations. Comprehensive turning cycles are available for frequently repeated operations, such as roughing, finishing recessing, and thread cutting.

The TNC 640 features a new and completely digital interface platform thats reduces cabling during setup. An ergonomic ,19-in. screen — the operating panel with stainless-steel fronts and status displays — provides an optimized user-friendly appearance.
